Head Down To The Field At Huntington Park For Their New Summer Movie Nights

Instead of taking the family out to a ball game, how about heading out for a movie instead?

Columbus Clippers fans can head down to Huntington Park for some socially distanced outdoor movie fun. On Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11, the team will be holding movie nights, featuring Jurassic Park on Friday and Frozen II on Saturday. Both screenings will begin at 8 p.m. with seating at 7 p.m.

Guests can watch the movies from the Huntington Park outfield in socially distanced areas. No chairs will be allowed on the field for seating, but blankets are encouraged. There will also be space in the grandstand on the third-base side of the stadium if fans need a physical seat. Seating will also be spread out in the grandstand.

Tickets for the movies are $5 for adults and $4 for kids aged 3-14. Little ones under 2 are free. Seating is first-come, first-serve, but there will be Clippers staff on hand to help ensure proper social distancing throughout the stadium. In fact, the stadium has strict health guidelines which you can read in full below.

Health Considerations:

  • If you exhibit symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. These include but are not limited to: coughing, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, headache or sore throat.
  • Every guest is required to sign a waiver. To expedite the process, please download, print and complete the waiver in advance.
  • Do not gather in groups of more than 10.
  • Guests entering Huntington Park will be subject to temperature screenings for temperatures of 100.4 or above.
  • Huntington Park will have hand sanitizing stations and restrooms available for guests to practice personal hygiene.
  • Masks are not required but are strongly recommended and should be worn during arrival and exit. All Clippers personnel will wear face coverings.
  • Guests are asked to maintain proper social distancing when entering and exiting Huntington Park and the grandstand/field areas.
  • To practice social distancing we ask all fans to remain in their selected seats or space on the field. We ask fans not roam about the ballpark other than going to and from the restrooms and concessions.
  • Signage, markings, stanchions and announcements will be used to encourage social distancing.
  • All guests will be required to leave the ballpark in a timely fashion after the movie has concluded.
