Hot Homes: 7 Houses For Sale In Italian Village Right Now
Located just north of Columbus, with close proximity to the Short North, Italian Village is one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city.
With delicious restaurants and shops dotted throughout the neighborhood, there’s plenty to do and see around Italian Village. The neighborhood was one of the first suburbs of Columbus and was officially annexed into the city in 1862. Although it’s called Italian Village, the neighborhood has been home to several different immigrant and minority groups throughout its history.
We’ve gathered 7 hot homes that could be the perfect fit for you on your house hunting adventure. Let’s dive in and take a closer look.
Realtor:Keith Poss with Keller Williams Capital Partners Price: $349,900 Specs: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1,275 square feet What we love: This century-old home is oozing charm and character. While the kitchen has been completely updated, there are little details throughout the home that htelp it retain that 20th century vibe, including the amazing angular hallway from the master bedroom into the ensuite bathroom.
Realtor:William Robbins | HER Realtors Price: $298,000 Specs: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1,196 square feet What we love: From the wide plank original hardwood floors to the exposed brick, there’s a lot to enjoy about this condo. It is a cozy home and although it only has one bedroom, it still has plenty of space to host friends, family, and even to get a little work done from home.
Realtor:Michael Casey, RE/MAX Connection Realtors Price: $449,000 Specs: 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2,155 square feet What we love: If you’re looking for loads of space, this townhome could be the one. With four bedrooms, vaulted ceilings, large closets, and a great location, you won’t find much about this property that you don’t like. There’s even an attached two-car garage, which is pretty rare for a neighborhood like Italian Village. Say goodbye to scraping the snow and ice off your car in the morning, my friends!
Realtor:The Vutech | Ruff Team, HER Realtors Price: $925,000 Specs: 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2,775 square feet What we love: This newer build was featured on the 2019 Short North Tour of Homes and it’s the most expensive home on this list. The house has a clean, modern style, and open floor plan, and 10 years remaining on a 100% tax abatement. There are two master suites in the home plus a third bedroom that isn’t exactly shabby. But my favorite part of the whole place is the second story enclosed balcony. It has such cozy vibes.
Realtor:Michael Casey, RE/MAX Connection Realtors Price: $399,900 Specs: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1,130 square feet What we love: Nobody said your dream home has to be a house! This apartment at Kramer Place has a lot going for it. The unit has everything you’d want out of a stylish apartment, including some surprising features like the hand-scraped smoked hardwood floors and white Carrara countertops.
Realtor:Daniel J Lim with Lim Realty Group Price: $355,000 Specs: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1,339 square feet What we love: With first-floor laundry, hardwood floors, and granite countertops, this home checks a lot of boxes for perspective homebuyers. It may need a little work here and there, but it has so much potential. Plus, I’m a sucker for cathedral ceilings and that master bedroom is a dream. I absolutly adore the stained glass detail.
Realtor:Michelle Sutliff with Key Realty Price: $549,900 Specs: 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 1,506 square feet What we love: Living in a historic neighborhood doesn’t mean you have to buy a home that’s 100 years old. This contemporary home has high-end finishes, custom cabinetry, and even a custom staircase. The home is tax abated through 2030 and it’s fantastic location means you’re just a short walk from the best restaurants and shops in the Short North.
