High Bank Distillery Named Best Whiskey In Ohio

Some serious congratulations are in order for High Bank Distillery Co.

The American Craft Spirits Association voted High Bank’s Double Oaked Batch #2 the Best Blended Whiskey and Best Whiskey product in Ohio at the annual Heartland Whiskey Competition.

The whiskey was released this summer and sold out in only 26 hours. The Double Oaked batch is a twist on their award-winning Whiskey Warr Barrel Proof Blend. The Double Oaked batch goes through a second maturation period for an additional 12-18 months and because of that process, it has heavy oak notes and offers a smooth drinking experience.

This is the 3rd year of The Heartland Whiskey Competition, held by the American Craft Spirits Association. Judges for the competition judge the spirits blind. High Bank joins two other Ohio distilleries that have taken home “Best in State” awards, Middle West Spirits (2019) and Mill Street Distillery (2017).

High Bank offers guests an elevated dining and drinking experience. They’ve got killer craft cocktails and a weekend brunch that will leave you dreaming about it all week long. The distillery was founded in 2017 by Adam Hines and Jordan Helman.
