Head To Hogwarts At The Bexley Public Library 20th Anniversary Harry Potter Celebration

Get out your wands, witches and wizards. Hogwarts is coming to Bexley.

On Sunday, September 17, the Friends of Bexley Public Library invite the public to come and celebrate all things magical. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was released in the United Kingdom twenty years ago this month.

In honor of the book series that shaped millions of childhoods, the Bexley Public library invites guests of all ages to meet some fantastic beasts, visit Ollivander’s wand shop, and much more. Gramercy Books and Kittie’s Cafe will also be participating in the celebration.

Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters. There will be a costume contest and the winner will receive a prize donated by Gramercy Books Bexley. The event will kick off at 2 p.m. and last until 3:30 p.m.

Dig out your wizard robes, pack up your owl, and grab your broom: It’s time to go back to Hogwarts!
