Grocery Delivery Service Instacart Opening Operations In Columbus

Instacart offers to deliver products from several retailers including Kroger, Costco, Petco, Meijer, Whole Foods, and Weiland’s Market.

Columbus is getting another grocery delivery service later this week. SanFrancisco based company, Instacart, will be opening it’s first Ohio operation in the state’s capital on the 27th. Instacart joins a growing list of grocery delivery services that have moved into the central Ohio area, including Amazon Prime Now which has recently added beer and wine products to its list of deliverable merchandise.

With an Instacart Express account, customers will be able to order free of charge for any orders over $35. Express membership starts at $99 for the first year and $149 for renewal after that.

Delivery prices for non-Express members depend on the size of the delivery order, scheduled delivery time, and they also charge Busy Pricing fees during times of high demand. To browse through products and to check out coupons and discounts click here for their website.
