Balanced Yoga Is Transitioning to GIVE Yoga, And They’re Giving Away Free Yoga Classes This Friday

Balanced Yoga is celebrating their one-year anniversary in German Village in a big way.

On Friday, December 14, the studio will celebrate with free yoga classes all day. The studio opened last December after renovating the building with neighbors Fox in the Snow, Native ColdPressed, The W Nail Bar, and STUMP, aka a few of my favorite things.

In addition to the free yoga classes (which are first come, first serve) there will also be yummy snacks and giveaways.

On Monday, December 17, the studio will officially become GIVE Yoga. The rebranded launch highlights the studio’s mission to build a community around yoga, and all the good the practice does.

GIVE Yoga was born out of Balanced Yoga’s fund of the same name, housed under The
Columbus Foundation. This past year, the GIVE Yoga Fund gave more than $20,000 to local organizations and started the “You Practice, We Give” program, where $1 of every class visit is given to the GIVE Yoga fund.

By the end of 2018, the community will contribute more than $25,000 from their visits alone.

Grab your mats people. We’re about to have a great Friday.
