There’s no such thing as “too many breweries.” Which is a good thing, because Columbus keeps getting more by the minute.

The latest place with the dream of brewing up delicious goodness for the fine people of this city is a German-style brewery that will be coming to Old Towne East. According to Columbus Underground, The Gemüt Biergarten house a huge beer hall, a front patio, and a biergarten out back.
The new spot will serve traditional, European-inspired food as well as European and German-style Lagers and Pilsners.

The Gemüt Biergarten will have over 3,300 square feet of space. Although the plans are in the early stages, it’s never too early for beer lovers to start getting excited. The brewery may be located in the heart of OTE, but that doesn’t mean that parking will be hard to come by.
In fact, the biergarten will have its own parking lot that has space for up to 40 cars. That means it will appeal to people looking for a nice German dinner from around the city, not just folks who live in the OTE neighborhood.

The Gemüt Biergarten is hoping to be open for business by April 2019. Keep checking back for more updates.
