Columbus Metropolitan Library And The Gateway Film Center Are Offering A Free Summer Series For CML Cardholders

The Columbus Metropolitan Library and the Gateway Film Center have teamed up to bring free movies to CML cardholders this summer.

From Book to Film gives CML cardholders free admission to a series of films that were inspired by and adapted from books. This is the eleventh year for the event, which offers screenings every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free (for up to four people) with your library card.

The 2021 From Book to Film series lineup includes:

  • June 11-13: Akeelah and the Bee (2006)
  • June 18-20: Paddington 2 (2018)
  • June 25-27: October Sky (1999)
  • July 2-4: A League of Their Own (1992)
  • July 9-11: My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (2018)
  • July 16-18: Whale Rider (2002)
  • July 23-25: A Little Princess (1995)
  • July 30-Aug. 1: Wonder (2017)
