Fright Night Friday returns to the CAPA Summer Film series, and it’s bringing with it a familiar set of shades.
Our friend Fritz the Niteowl is back and this time promises to be just as weird as ever. The CAPA Summer Film Series, the longest running film series in America, brings the oldskool horror back to the capital city.

In a special Fright Nite Friday premiere of the Kubrick classic, The Shining, the Summer Series invites Fritz to host the event, bringing with him his usual charming antics. Not only will the local legend do a live introduction but the film will be full of the normal pre-recorded breaks and commentary longtime Fritz fanatics are used to.

During the showing, Fritz will be sticking around the lobby to sign autographs for fans and to take photos. Tickets go on sale the day of the show for $5 or you can purchase a strip of 10 Summer Series tickets for $30 beforehand through Ticketmaster or at the CAPA Ticket Center.
