If you ask me, there can never be too much good coffee. Especially when it’s served up in beautiful places.
That’s exactly what Hans and Joelle of Florin Coffee are bringing to North Linden with their cafe. I swung by for a little preview before they opened and I am so excited Columbus has this little slice of coffee paradise.
For the past few years, Florin has been crafting exceptionally roasted beans and selling them through their website, with the goal of bringing better coffee into people’s daily lives. After originally renovating a space to roast their coffee in, it just made sense to use the extra space they had to serve coffee to the public! Their team has turned the storefront into a lovely space with lots of natural light, tons of plants and plenty of places to take a seat and savor a cup of coffee!
The concept of the cafe is an extension of their philosophy, giving people a chance to try new coffees, pick-up a bag to take home and to connect with other coffee lovers. The drink menu includes pour-overs, espresso drinks, and artisan teas. Food items include baked goods from Patty Cake Bakery, Bagels from Sammy’s Bagels, breakfast, vegetarian, and turkey sandwiches from Tupelo Doughnuts, house-made granola bars, and donuts from Tupelo Doughnuts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
You can stop in for a drink and a bite to eat Wednesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cafe is located at 874 Oakland Park Ave. For more info about Florin Coffee you can head over to their website.
