Gathering the whole family together for a nice meal can get a little hectic this time of year.

But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. There are so many great restaurants to explore around Columbus, and it’s even better when you can do it with a discount.

That’s where Flavvr comes into the picture. The app gives members access to all sorts of incredible deals, including discounts and special foodie events. That means you can take everyone out without breaking the bank, which is the greatest gift of all.

Here are some amazing places to take the family out with the help of Flavvr.

94th Aero Squadron Restaurant

The 94th Aero Squadron is located between the runways of the Port Columbus Airport and offers a dramatic view of the arriving and departing air traffic. If you’ve found yourself sitting around thinking, “Where’s the perfect place to take Dad out to dinner,” this could be the one. The 1917 French-style Farmhouse is full of military memorabilia and aviation relics depicting the times of the WWI and WWII era. The menu offers a variety of options, including chicken, seafood, beef, and more. There’s also a lunch buffet if dining early is your thing.

Chile Verde

People of the world, spice up your life. And by the world, I mean Columbus. Chile Verde is a great spot for some incredible Mexican food, including classics like the traditional chimichanga and new dishes like a Green Chile Cheeseburger. There’s also a gluten-free menu, just in case you have some family members with dietary restrictions.
Address: 4852 Sawmill Rd, Columbus, OH 43235 and 1522 Gemini Place, Columbus, OH 43240

The Red Brick Tap & Grill

via Facebook

This is one of my favorite haunts in all of Columbus. They’ve got an amazing menu, with delicious pizzas and calzone, as well as entrees to choose from. But my favorite time to visit Red Brick is on the weekends during brunch. Seriously, if you decided to head there while the brunch menu is available, there’s a good chance you might run into me while I’m snacking on some Pig Sticks, aka cinnamon battered sausage links with a side of maple syrup. Yum.

Peace, Love and Little Donuts

Whether you’re dining in or just stopping by to grab some donuts to take home for the family, discounts at Peace, Love and Little Donuts are worth a Flavvr membership alone. They’re tiny and joyful and I’ve yet to see someone eat one and not enjoy it. They have groovy flavors smothered with toppings as well as more traditional donut options. Ride that sugar high all day as you spend time with your family.

How great does an authentic, Italian dinner sound right now? Carfagna’s is family-owned and incredibly delicious. Plus, it’s an Italian restaurant which means that they totally get the chaos that is planning a big family meal. The menu is delightful and I promise, you’ll find something everyone likes.

Geordie’s Restaurant

If you think cozying up in an authentic, English pub sounds like the best way to spend a chilly night with the family, you aren’t the only one. Chef Glen Hall-Jones combines his distinctly English vibe with his rockstar attitude and the result is a fantastic little restaurant. Do yourself a favor and order a Scotch Egg for your appetizer. You can thank me later.

Okay now that you’re pretty hungry and you’ve already started planning, I’ll just leave you with this. Right now, you can get your first 30 days of membership with Flavvr for free. After that, it’s $8.99 per month. Happy eating, my friends.
