Elizabeth Warren is bringing her persistence to Columbus this Friday.
The Massachusets senator will be in town to campaign for her friend and former colleague, Richard Cordray (D), who is running for Governor.
Early voting for the May 8th primary started on Tuesday, and the Cordray campaign is pulling out all the stops to get voters out. The rally is being held at Newport Music Hall on Friday, April 13. Doors open at 2 p.m. with the event starting at 2:30 p.m. Although the event is free, you are encouraged to RSVP. Admission will be first come, first serve.
Cordray is one of six Democrats running in the primary, including Larry Ealy, Former U.S. Representative and former Cleveland Mayor Dennis Kucinich, former Ohio Supreme Court Justice Bill O’Neill, Paul Ray, and State Sen. Joe Schiavoni.
Cordray, who is best known for his role as Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Ohio Attorney General has chosen former U.S. Representative Betty Sutton as his running mate.
