Ed Sheeran Announces North American Tour Dates And Ohio Has Two Chances To See Him

British indie pop star Ed Sheeran has announced his upcoming North American tour, and he’ll be stopping in both Columbus and Cleveland. In case you couldn’t hear me through the throngs of screaming fangirls, I’ll say it again. This is not a drill: Ed Sheeran is coming back to Columbus.

Sheeran announced that he’ll be performing in both Columbus (October 3) and Cleveland (September 9) as he makes his way across the US and Canada. He has played here in the capital city before, performing in 2012 at then LC Pavillion (now Express Live!). Sheeran also made a brief but memorable appearance during his friend Taylor Swift’s 2013 concert to perform their duet, “Everything Has Changed”.

This time, Ed Sheeran will be playing Nationwide Arena, and you can expect nearly all of the roughly 20,000 seats to be full. Presale for the tour starts March 13th at 10 AM, but only a limited number of tickets will be available to registered fans. If you want a chance at those and you aren’t signed up, be sure to register here before March 10th in order to purchase tickets. The general sale will start on Friday, March 17th, all tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster.  So before you head out to that crazy St. Patty’s Day pub crawl your roommate promises will be amazing, be sure to hop on and grab your seats.
