The City of Dublin has announced some big changes for the Dublin Irish Festival this year.
Instead of holding the full festival in Coffman Park this summer, there will be a city-wide celebration during Dublin Irish Days. Held from August 5-8, Dublin Irish Days will celebrate all of the traditions you’ve come to know and love from the festival, while keeping everyone as safe and healthy as possible.
The Dublin Irish Festival 5K and Dub Crawl will kick the festivities off on Thursday, August 5 in downtown Dublin. Throughout the weekend, Coffman Park will host live concerts featuring Irish musicians and the ticketed play “The Irish and How They Got That Way”.
In Downtown Dublin, visitors will find a variety of Irish activities throughout the weekend, including a Darby Street Marketplace full of merchandise vendors. There will be festival musicians and dancers popping up around town and various shops and restaurants will be offering Irish specials.
