Now You Can See Everything From Indie Films To Mainstream Flicks At Drexel Theatre

Listen up families! Your movie-going experience is about to change.

Drexel Theatre in Bexley may be known for their arthouse film line-ups, but this year, things are changing. With a new theatre director at the helm, Drexel is planning on adding in a wider variety of programming, curated by the staff at the theatre.

The theatre shared the exciting news on their Facebook.

“For 2019, we have an exciting announcement. Throughout the year, the Drexel’s film offerings will expand to not only include the best in independent films, but a brand new slate of classic, cult, mainstream and family friendly films curated by the Drexel staff.

With that in mind, in February the Drexel Theatre will present The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part as our first of many family friendly offerings throughout the year.

Screenings will start Feb 7th, with expanded weekend hours tickets on sale soon. Hope to see you there!”

For a heavily family-friendly community like Bexley. The move makes perfect sense. Staff at the theatre mentioned that there will be other blockbusters to look forward to throughout the year.
