Get your popcorn and safety blankets ready Columbus, this all night movie marathon will leave you screaming in your seats.
This weekend at the Drexel Theatre, all your classic slasher fright favorites will be playing all night and into the early morning. The best of cinema terror stalks straight out of the ’80s for a night of suspense and thrills, dominating the big screen with enough blood and guts to supply your nightmares for the rest of the summer.
Some of the classic horror titles include “A Nightmare On Elm Street”, “Silent Night, Deadly Night”, “Slumber Party Massacre”, “Trick or Treat”, and the original “My Bloody Valentine”. If that isn’t enough to get you quaking in your boots, don’t worry, there will be plenty more movies than that as the night goes on.

As if the allure of glossy vintage thrillers weren’t enough, other attractions for the event entail an exclusive line-up announcement for the “Shock Around the Clock” movie marathon later in October. Come dressed in super scary apparel for the chance to win prizes and giveaways and anyone who survives the whole night wins two free Drexel movie tickets and two vouchers for free popcorn for their next visit.
Tickets are $20 for the whole night. Festivities start at 10 p.m. Saturday, August 19 and rolls right on through 8 a.m. the next day. Purchase your tickets at Laughing Ogre Comics, Drexel Theatre, or online via Paypal at www.horrormarathon.com.
