The Brewery District is welcoming a new bakery.
Dough Mama announced the opening of their second location on Thursday. Their new spot is located at 730 South High St. in the Brewery District, near Antiques on High, Ambrose and Eve, and Law Bird Bar.
The space used to house Kolache Republic, a Czech bakery which is relocating down the street inside The Daily Growler (702 S. High St).
“We realize we are taking a huge risk opening at this time, but we’re hopeful that in the long run this will be a great second location for what we do,” shared Dough Mama on social media. “In addition to breakfast, lunch, and pastry, we will also be offering dinner and an expanded coffee menu!”
Previously, the bakery had been set to open a space in Dublin’s North Market, but those plans fell through late last month.
While the entire menu at Dough Mama is enjoyable, they’re best known for their incredible pies. Dough Mama works to include local artisans, makers, and growers into their menu which changes seasonally to reflect availability.
Dough Mama’s original location, 3335 N. High St, is open for carry-out/delivery only. You can place your delivery order online via Postmates, GrubHub, and Doordash. To place a carry-out order, you can call in at 614-268-3662. The shop is open Thursday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Brewery District location is expected to open in August. For more info, you can visit the Dough Mama website here.
