For The Next Two Months, The Columbus Zoo Is Offering Half-Price Admission

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is offering some great discounts.

Through February 28, the zoo will be having half-price admission with no reservations required. The Zoo will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and although it will be cold, the winter is still a great time to see some animals.

The North American region of the zoo has loads of adorable animals that love being outside in the winter weather, including the cougars and the polar bears. You can also swing by Adventure Cove to see the sea lions and harbor seals, the zoo’s latest additions.

You can always escape the cold by stopping by some of the heated, indoor shelter areas, including my favorite area of the whole zoo, Manatee Coast.

In addition to half-price admission, the zoo will be offering free admission on January 18th (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and February 15 (President’s Day). During the free days, members and non-members won’t need a timed ticket and although admission is free, parking will still coast $10 per vehicle.

When visiting the zoo, don’t forget to wear your mask. The zoo also asks that visitors adhere to social distancing, staying at least 6 feet from other people at all times.
