If Dave Chapelle Didn’t Photo Bomb Your Engagement Session, Did You Even Really Take Pics?

One Ohio couple got an awesome surprise during their engagement session.

According to photographer Jaycee Brammer, she was shooting engagement photos for couple Tommy Saunders and Emily Eldridge at Yellow Springs Brewery when a very special celebrity hopped in the frame.

Comedian and Yellow Springs resident Dave Chappelle has been known to be seen around town, but this may be the first time he’s appeared in someone’s engagement photos!

The photographer wrote on Facebook, “I’m going to have to quit photography now because how will I ever beat this? I just can’t 🤷🏻‍♀️ HUGE shoutout to the man himself. He was so nice and truly made our day. I think it’s safe to say Emily + Tommy have the coolest engagement photos EVER.”

The couple initially asked Chappelle if he’d like to be in a photo, but he declined. The couple wasn’t surprised.

“I really wasn’t surprised because I had heard he wasn’t much for photos,” Brammer told Yahoo! Lifestyle. “We all totally understood, and Dave chatted with Tommy for a few minutes.”

The groom-to-be went on to tell Chappelle about his time spent in the Airforce and watching the Chappelle Show while stationed overseas. After the shoot started back up, the comedian decided to opt into the session by way of photo bomb.

“He laughed after photobombing us and stepped back so we could finish,” Brammer explained. “After that we were all pretty much shocked and couldn’t believe what just happened. We reviewed the photos, and I walked over to show Dave. He laughed and said, ‘We’re gonna go viral, man.’”

Once again, Dave Chappelle knows what he’s talking about.

I want to get engaged all over again just in the hope that Dave Chappelle will bomb my shoot. I think my husband would be fine with it.
