Check Out Local Goods At The 2nd Annual Columbus Furniture Makers’ Showcase

Furniture makers will be gathering this spring in Franklinton to showcase their work to the public.

On April 8, the second annual Columbus Furniture Makers’ Showcase will take place in the Strongwater Gallery at 401 W Town St, aka 400 West Rich. The event is designed to bring local furniture makers and industry professionals together in a one of kind celebration of collaboration and commerce in Columbus.

A curated selection of local furniture will be on display, all made by artisans right here in Ohio. Furnishings from interior home decor to retail development will be the stars of the show and visitors will not only get a chance to view these pieces but make some purchases as well.

The doors will open at noon and the showcase will remain open until 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Food will be sponsored by Freaks + Leeks and the bar at Strongwater will be open! Although it won’t cost you anything to go, it is recommended that you reserve a ticket through Eventbrite.

So what kind of hand-crafted work can we expect? How about this beautiful sofa table, crafted by Shawn Walburn out of Ambrosia Maple, Purple Heart, and East Indian Rosewood.
