Columbus Symphony Announces A Show That The Whole Family Will Enjoy

Get to know Beethoven at the Ohio Theatre hosted by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra as part of their Concerts for Kids series on Sunday, October 22 at 3pm.

The Orchestra partnered with acting troupe Really Inventive Stuff to put on “The Life & Times of Beethoven”, an enjoyable and educational performance illustrating Beethoven’s musical talent and life story.

In the lobby of the Ohio Theatre at 2pm kids can explore their musical creativity with Musicologie, craft with the Columbus Museum of Art, learn the art of conducting with Columbus Symphony Orchestra”s principal cellist Luis Biava and meet the mascot Bee-thoven before the show.

The show is recommend for children ages 3-10. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children and can be purchased here on Ticketmaster or by phone with the CAPA Ticket Center at (614) 469-0939.

Professor Nigel Taproot combines Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony with facts and trivia for this hour long performance to showcase Beethoven’s musical genius.
