Cloud City Will Be This Year’s Can’t-Miss Columbus Festival

If an interactive, multi-media festival sounds right up your alley, then hang onto your hats.

Cloud City is a first-year entirely community-driven event. The fest is being held on September 7, from 2 p.m. to midnight at 400 W Rich.

“We are bringing together a diverse group of creatives to curate an interactive multimedia festival, as well as to imagine and actively work toward building a more inclusive Columbus,” said Cassie Young, Co-Founder of Cloud City.

“Our festival includes artists and mediums that are often left out of arts festivals and we incorporate them in a way that has them flow and intersect the way they would in an actual city. Elements include music, fashion, film, gaming, skating, mindfulness, comedy, podcast, news, and more. Long term, we aim to be a platform and community for creatives.”

The event is open to anyone over the age of 18. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.

For one night, 400 W Rich will turn into a city for artists, built by artists. There will even be a Cloud City Mayor’s Race to recognize someone who is advancing the culture and bringing people together. Each attendee to Cloud City will get the chance to vote for the nominee of their choice.

This festival experience will be one-of-a-kind here in Columbus. It’s a chance to gather with people from all walks in life who are excited to see what the future holds, and who want to see what we can create collectively.
