This Bexley Hanukkah Celebration Will Have A 6,000 Piece Candy Drop From A Helicopter

Nothing says the holidays quite like a candy drop.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the concept, a candy drop is when a helicopter or other aircraft drops a bunch of candy from the sky onto kids patiently waiting to gather it.

On December 5, 6,000 pieces of candy will be showering Jeffrey Mansion for the Bexley Street of Gold Party.

The Hanukkah celebration will include a Menorah lighiting, the candy drop, snacks (including donuts and cider) as well as other fun family activities. The event was supposed to take place in downtown Bexley, but due to the level of interest, organizers moved it to nearby Jeffrey Mansion so more families could participate safely.

The event will take place on December 5 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. For more info about 2018 Hanukkah events, please click here.
