Try Out Some Delicious Local Wine On The Central Ohio Wine Country Trail

Celebrating local wines is an all-year long activity I’m always willing to participate in.

But there’s something especially sweet about enjoying some delicious Ohio wine on a long summer day. Nearly two dozen Central Ohio wineries have teamed up to create Central Ohio Wine Country, an interactive trail that showcases some truly incredible wineries within an hour of Columbus.

These local wineries consist of options that grow their own grapes as well as those who use grapes from other locations. There are wineries that have attached breweries, those who also make mead, and those who have unique restaurants attached. When I say there is something for everyone, I genuinely mean it.

Central Ohio Wine Country will have a Trail Passport for participants to keep track of their trips to various wineries. At each stop, trail participants can pick up a passport and a map, although the map is also available online.

Passports will be stamped by each winery along the trail, culminating in some fun wine-themed prizes. The details of the prizes haven’t been released yet, but you can keep yourself up-to-date with all the info by visiting the Central Ohio Wine Country website here.
