Hilliard’s new market is hoping for a fall opening, and we’re all hoping with them.
Construction on Crooked Can Brewing Co. and the Center Street Market in Old Hilliard is underway and is expected to open by mid-October, according to This Week News. This is the second location for Crooked Can Brewing, which is based out of Florida.
The market will feature 11 vendors, including Bakes by Lo, The Cheesecake Girl, Dumplings of Fury, Meatball Mafia, Pokebap, Rime Time Curiously Crafted Pops, Serendipity, Women That Farm and the Wicked Lobstah.
That all sounds pretty amazing, but there is one catch. As of right now, Center Street Market will not offer any allocated parking. If you live in Old Hilliard, that’s probably no big deal. But if you’re visiting, it could be a problem.
Luckily, there are plans underway to address the parking situation. Those plans include a potential parking lot between Center and Franklin streets, which will be presented to the Hilliard City Council on June 10.
Until then, let’s just revel in the awesomeness that is Crooked Can Brewing and Center Street Market! For more updates, you can follow them on Facebook.
