Who’s ready for the “best prom ever?”

The Garden Theater is one of my favorite venues in Columbus, and now it will be hosting the musical version of one of my favorite movies!

Carrie the Musical premieres at the theater on July 29. The show is being put on by Immersive Columbus. Adapted from Stephen King’s 1974 novel, Carrie the Musical tells the story of a teenage girl with telekinetic powers and a mom who is a religious fanatic.

Of course, most people know about the infamous scene where Carrie gets pranked at the prom. The iconic moment will be portrayed live on stage and yes, there will be blood.

Tickets for the show are on sale now. Carrie the Musical runs from July 29-August 8. You can get more information or purchase your tickets by visiting ShortNorthStage.org.
