Cameron Mitchell’s Budd Dairy Food Hall Adds Cousins Maine Lobster, Stauf’s, And More

Budd Dairy Food Hall is so close to completion, you can almost taste it.

The newest venture from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, located at 1086 N. 4th Street in Italian Village, announced the final five food vendors today. Your husband wants lobster but you’re craving tacos? No problem. Budd Dairy Food Hall has it all.

The newest additions to the space are Boni: Filipino Street Food, Cousins Maine Lobster, Pokebap, Stauf’s Coffee Roasters, and Tacos Rudos. The new vendors join the previously announced tenants, Darista, Borgata, Alphabetical Comfort Kitchen, and Modern Southern Table.

“These chef partners are going to bring an amazing diversity of food to Budd Dairy Food Hall,” said Steve Weis, Cameron Mitchell Restaurant’s vice president of development. “This effort is an exciting marriage between two of Columbus’ strengths: food and entrepreneurship.”

Boni, owned by Krizzia Yanga and fam, will serve rice bowls topped with delicious, sautéed meats and veggies, fried spring rolls filled with traditional Filipino flavors and sweet and tangy grilled skewers. Cousins Maine Lobster, famous from their time on Shark Tank, will be serving 100 percent premium, wild-caught, sustainably harvested lobster from Maine. The space is being opened by franchise owner Kathryn Nuss, who first opened her Cousins Maine Lobster food truck last year.

Pokebap will be opening its second location in Budd Dairy Food Hall. The restaurant, owned by Seas Kim, focuses on Hawaiian food, specifically poke. Tacos Rudos, owned by Ana Cruz, will be cooking up authentic Mexican street food, including tacos with a side of passion for Lucha Libra (Mexican wrestling).

Columbus’s first micro-roaster, Stauf’s Coffee Roasters, will round out the vendors at Budd Dairy Food Hall.

The Budd Dairy Food Hall is expected to open in 2020 and is the first chef-driven food incubator in Columbus. The 14,000 square foot food hall will have individual kitchens for each chef-partner and Cameron Mitchell Restaurants will run events and bar sales.
