Budd Dairy Food Hall’s restaurant lineup is officially complete and now it’s time to open.
The Budd Dairy Food Hall is the latest venture from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. The food hall will feature nine food vendors, bringing a variety of cuisines and concepts together. Food hall management, bartenders and bar personnel, and other staff will be under CMR.
Located in Italian Village, Budd Dairy Food Hall will give the city’s top up-and-coming chefs the opportunity to grow as entrepreneurs and to serve their community in a unique gathering space.
“We are so grateful for our raving fans who share our excitement for the new Budd Dairy Food Hall and who have been anxiously awaiting its opening,” said Jeremy Hughes, the general manager. “We look forward to welcoming guests soon, giving them a safe place to connect with others while enjoying tasty culinary creations from our talented group of chef partners.”
The much-anticipated food hall will be opening on April 6, and the exciting news just keeps coming. On Tuesday, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants announced that The Cheesecake Girl would be joining in on the funn at Budd Dairy Food Hall’s rotating incubation kitchen called “Hatch”.
The space gives Budd Dairy Food Hall guests the opportunity to try something new every few months. The Cheesecake Girl, started by Samantha Strange in 2017, has been making Columbus happy with her sweet treats at farmers markets and weddings for years.
After opening at Center Street Market in Hilliard in 2019 and a future location planned for downtown Dublin later this year, Strange is bringing her talent to Hatch when Budd Dairy Food Hall opens in April.

“The Cheesecake Girl is an exciting addition to Budd Dairy Food Hall and is the perfect complement to our chef partner offerings,” said Jeremy Hughes, the general manager of Budd Dairy Food Hall. “Samantha has established an impressive following for her delicious cheesecake desserts and we look forward to helping her expand her customer-base even further while she operates in our Hatch incubation kitchen.”
