Breakaway Music Festival Is Back With An Extra Day Of Fun

The Breakaway Music Fesitval will be returning to Columbus this summer.

Last year, the fest brought more than 20,000 fans to MAPFRE Stadium for the hip-hop/EDM festival, and they’re hoping to do that again.

This year, the festival creators are adding a third day to the lineup, hoping to make the event a whole weekend affair.

“We started this festival by combining urban living with a carefully curated, multi-genre lineup that festival goers of all ages and music preferences could enjoy,” said Adam Lynn, of Prime Social Group in a statement.

“After just four years, Breakaway Columbus has grown into a large-scale festival home to over 25,000 attendees – the expansion into Sunday was a no brainer for us based on the festival’s previous success.”

Pre-sale for the festival begins March 29 at noon with early bird tickets going on sale to the general public March 30 at noon. If you bought tickets to the festival last year, you will recieve a code via email for pre-sale access.

The lineup has yet to be announced for the Columbus stop but announcements will be coming out any day. The festival will take place at MAPFRE Stadium from August 24-26, with three stages, local vendors, and more.
