The Blue Danube Is Not For Sale After All

Last updated:

It may not be the end of an era after all.

While the iconic mural that decorated the side of 2439 N High Street has been painted over, the Columbus Dispatch reports that The Blue Danube is not for sale.

There is a listing for the restaurant on Home Experts Realty, but the real estate agent associated with the website listing is no longer working with that property.

We incorrectly reported that the building was for sale for $1 million, but we can all take a deep breath and continue hoping that The Blue Danube will see some sort of revitalization in the coming years.

Known affectionately as The Dube, the restaurant was open for nearly 80 years, serving generation after generation breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When they first closed in 2018, there was talk of The Blue Danube reopening and of renovations by the building owner.
