This Local Restaurant Did Something Amazing Over The Holiday Season

Nestled in a strip mall in Worthington, you’ll find a quaint, unassuming pizza place called Big Tony’s.

From Thanksgiving until the New Year, the owners of Big Tony’s, Tony Haji and his brother Mohammed decided to give back to their community.

Big Tony’s offered meals to people who couldn’t pay for no cost.

“We started it the first week of Thanksgiving to the end of New Years,” said Haji. “There are people out there that don’t have any money, they come in and they get a free meal.”

Tony said they don’t ask questions or expect anything in return. They just want to help people. “It’s the season of giving. We’re going to start doing that every year.”

The program may be over, but there’s still a way for you to make a difference. If you’re fortunate enough to be able to afford a meal, consider Big Tony’s for your next dinner.

Their menu is out of this world, serving delicious pizza, wings, calzones, subs, pasta, and more. Rumor has it that they even have the best cannoli in Columbus.

But don’t take my word for it. People who have eaten at Big Tony’s aren’t afraid to show their love for the place.
