Columbus Zoo and Aquarium released the first official portraits of its newest residents. Aurora’s polar bear cubs were born late last year and are growing up happy and healthy.
At the beginning of the month, the zoo shared a similar update about Anana’s cub. Since opening in May 2010, the Polar Frontier has become one of the most popular attractions at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
Everyone, myself included, fell in love with the Zoo’s first polar bear cub to grow up, Nora. Since going out on her own, Nora has been able to thrive at the Oregon Zoo.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium offered another update on Anana’s cub today. The cub and mother still won’t be on display until later spring, but the cub’s gender will likely be determined next week.
The Zoo usually holds naming contests, and we at Columbus Navigator can’t wait to hear what this little one will be called!
