OpenTable has spoken. The Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America have been compiled, and Ohio is home to 8 of them.
After analyzing more than 12,000,000 reviews of 26,000 restaurants across the country, OpenTable has found the Top 100. All of the reviews were submitted by verified diners. Ohio tied with North Carolina and Virgina for most restaurants on the list.
19 states didn’t have any restaurants make the list, including Alaska, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, and Michigan. (Go Buckeyes!)
In Ohio, four chosen restaurants were in Cincinnati, the most in the state. In the Queen City, Carlo & Johnny, Orchids at Palm Court, The Precinct, and Restaurant L were voted the most romantic. Up north, the Bistro at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, Chez Francois in Vermilion, and Pier W in Cleveland joined the list.
In Columbus, there was only one establishment that made the cut. Can I get a drumroll, please?
The most romantic restaurant in Columbus is…
The Refectory Restaurant & Bistro
I’m sure no one is surprised. The Refectory has been wowing Columbus residents for decades with their contemporary American and traditional French cuisine.
Being one of the most romantic restaurants in the state, there aren’t any reservations left for the upcoming holiday. Luckily for you, The Refectory is romantic all year long.
