Columbus Is Hosting The 2021 NCAA D1 Women’s Volleyball Championship This Weekend

The 2021 NCAA D1 Women’s Volleyball champion will be crowned in Columbus this weekend.

Listen up, sports fans! Columbus is currently hosting the Volleyball championship and the fight for Number 1 will be determined after three games over two nights at Nationwide Arena.

The best four women’s teams in the country will face off at Nationwide Arena on December 16 & 18. The final four teams will meet up on Thursday for the Semifinal matches. Wisconsin will take on Louisville first at 7 p.m., followed by Pittsburgh vs. Nebraska at 9:30 p.m.

If you can’t make it down to the arena in person, you can view the Semifinals on ESPN and the Championship match on ESPN2.

Since 2000, Columbus has hosted 18 national volleyball events. From NCAA tournaments to USA Volleyball events, our city has become a bonified volleyball paradise. This year is the second time that Nationwide Arena has hosted the D1 Women’s Championship and Columbus is the only city in over 20 years that has hosted the NCAA Men’s National Championship and Women’s D1 National Championship in the same year.
