It seems like nature has been conspiring against us.
Storms have hit Columbus basically every two hours (don’t quote me on that). Even for someone who enjoys a nice gloomy day, the constant storming can get old. Sometimes you just want to walk outside and not be immediately pelted with water that’s temperature is nearly impossible to predict. It could be freezing. It could be uncomfortably warm.
You won’t know (unless you’re a meteorologist) until it strikes. That’s why you’ll definitely relate to the stages of emotion that come with all this malarkey.
1) Defiantly questioning the weatherman. I mean… they’re always wrong, right?
2) Those faces you make when you drive to work and wonder how everyone got so bad at driving.
<
3) When you’re trying to see the road through the downpour.
4) Or when part of the road starts flooding, and you have to drive through it.
5) Or a truck drives by and splashes a bunch of water across your windshield, and everything goes blurry for a hot second.
6) Realizing you forgot an umbrella and dashing from your car to the door.
7) Looking out the office window and getting hit with that rainy weather mood.
8) Having to cancel those summery, outdoor plans you made.
9) And then realizing it may not be the worst thing in the world.
10) …And deciding to stay inside all weekend.
11) Until the sun finally comes out, and you actually kind of wish it would just chill.
