Short North parking will continue to be an awful nightmare for the time being.
If you were one of those people fed up with parking in the Short North (everyone, I’m saying everyone) and you were all raring to go list your grievances at tonight’s public meeting, prepare your heart for disappointment.
The meeting was originally slated for 5:30 p.m. Thursday but the city has canceled due to a general lack of preparation to implement their new parking strategy.
Reminder: The July 13 meeting on the Short North Parking Pilot plan has been canceled. The city is taking more time to consider the issue. pic.twitter.com/cW4mwqTMu2

Tonight’s meeting would have been the second out of three public forums the city would host before enacting the trial period for their new parking plan. We’ll just have to wait a bit longer to get those frustrations off our chest. At least now we’ll have more time to rehearse our fist shaking in the mirror before the big day.
