The Amazing Dog Show

Contemporary Screen: Afterimage

German Village Art Crawl

Summer Movie Series: South Pacific

What: Here’s looking at you, old movie fanatics. If you’re not familiar with older movies, South Pacific is a screen adaptation of a musical based on a Pulitzer Prize winning collection of short stories. The movie takes place on an island during WWII and traces two love stories fraught with tension from the war.

North Market Farmers’ Market

What: The market will feature more than 20 farmers. Head here for locally-grown fruit, veggies, flowers, and more. Some vendors featured this Saturday include Anderson Orchard, Pristine Valley Farm, Harriet Gardens, Boline Apothecary, and Glenn Avenue Soap.

10TV & Metro Parks Outdoor Adventure

What: This family-friendly, free event lets you enjoy the summer weather and connect with nature. The kiddos can have a blast with sack races, archery, climbing on the rock wall, live animals, playing in the creek, and other fun activities.
